Due to the forecast of rain on Sunday, we had a glorious Easter service in the parking lot of the church on Saturday, April 11th. While practicing social distancing during the pandemic, nearly 40 cars gathered two spaces apart to celebrate our risen Savior. Erin and Ian lead worship and Pastor Dusty preached on the east side of the sanctuary to an excited crowd of worshipers. With windows rolled down, we sang and worshiped in preparation to hearing the encouraging words about our resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. Horns with enthusiasm, blew as an “amen” to the words spoken.
As we were leaving, as when we arrived, we waved and smiled having seen our church family. We were thankful for the cars in the community that saw the service and joined in with us as well.
